CX Education Manager

DaySmart is a global leader in business management software that simplifies scheduling and operations for thousands of users. We’re looking for a CX Education Manager to lead our instructional design team and drive the strategy, development, and execution of impactful learning content.

This role blends creative direction with people management—fostering team growth, ensuring quality, and aligning learning initiatives with business goals.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of instructional designers (and roles supporting AI review initiatives and other instructional content), providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Set clear goals, priorities, and success metrics for the instructional design function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Support, etc.) to ensure learning materials align with product releases, customer needs, and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the creation, curation, and continuous improvement of educational content across multiple platforms (E-learning, Help Center, Intercom, Confluence, etc.).
  • Champion instructional design and AI standards, methodologies, and processes that support scalable, effective, and engaging learning experiences.
  • Manage project timelines, workload distribution, and content backlog in alignment with business priorities.
  • Drive innovation in content delivery by leveraging new tools, technologies, and design approaches.
  • Represent the instructional design function in strategic meetings, ensuring visibility of team progress and impact.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast resource needs and support team career development.
  • Oversee quality assurance reviews and ensure that all content meets DaySmart’s brand, accessibility, and educational standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience managing instructional design or content development teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans while maintaining attention to operational detail.
  • Expertise in instructional design principles, content management systems, and adult learning theory.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects and aligning deliverables with cross-functional objectives.
  • Proficiency with project management, LMS, and content authoring tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.

Salary

  • The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, internal equity, etc.

How You Will Work

This will be a US based position. We offer flexible work arrangements including fully remote, in person or hybrid opportunities. For those looking to work in person, we have physical offices in the following cities:

  • Ann Arbor, MI
  • Wayne, PA
  • Austin, TX

Many DaySmart employees primarily work from home, and our teams are structured to operate efficiently in a distributed environment. While we don’t always share a physical office, we work together closely through remote collaboration practices.

We maintain a highly collaborative culture and expect all employees to actively participate in meetings, discussions, and team interactions. This includes joining scheduled video calls with cameras on, contributing to conversations, and being fully present.
