Collaborations Hours

Core collaboration hours are 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST

Overview

Your mandate: build a predictable, scalable acquisition engine that materially increases qualified inbound sales leads for Sawyer and TeamUp at attractive acquisition economics.

You will determine where our next 100, 500 and 1,000 incremental qualified leads come from: which channels to scale, where to invest, what to test and how to improve the journey from initial discovery through lead submission and successful handoff to Sales.

We are looking for someone who has scaled acquisition in a high-volume SMB SaaS business and can quantify the results. You should also bring professional experience in the fitness industry and an existing network of fitness operators, partners, consultants or community leaders to support TeamUp’s growth, particularly in the United States.

You will own growth strategy, acquisition investment and performance, partnering with an outsourced performance marketing agency and internal Product Marketing, Creative, Sales, Revenue Operations and business leadership.

For the first 12 months, growth investment and attention will focus on Sawyer and TeamUp. Dash’s near-term mandate is to maintain an efficient baseline of high-intent demand while the business focuses on its next-generation product.

Your North Star

  • Qualified inbound sales leads for Sawyer and TeamUp.
  • Success means consistently putting more qualified prospective customers in front of Sales, with acquisition economics that support sustainable growth. You will use downstream conversion and revenue performance to validate lead quality and guide investment.
  • At any point, you should be able to explain where the next increment of growth will come from, what it will cost and what evidence supports the plan.

Brand Priorities

Sawyer — Scale an established acquisition engine.

  • Increase qualified children’s activity and enrichment providers entering the funnel. Develop new channels, improve website and demo conversion, and sharpen segmentation by provider type, size, geography and intent.

TeamUp — Expand acquisition across the U.S. and U.K.

  • Build a larger, more predictable flow of qualified fitness business leads, with particular emphasis on U.S. growth. Combine digital acquisition with industry relationships, partnerships and focused local initiatives.

Dash — Preserve efficient, high-intent demand.

  • Maintain productive acquisition channels and essential infrastructure so the business is positioned to accelerate when its product and go-to-market strategy are ready.

What You’ll Own

1. Growth Strategy, Planning and Investment

  • Own qualified inbound lead targets and acquisition strategy for Sawyer and TeamUp.
  • Translate business goals into monthly lead requirements, channel plans and investment priorities by brand.
  • Build a quantitative growth model showing expected lead volume, conversion, acquisition costs and the contribution of new initiatives.
  • Identify the constraints limiting growth and prioritize the opportunities most likely to improve results.
  • Allocate incremental investment based on expected marginal returns, balancing near-term performance with longer-term channel development.

2. Acquisition Channels and New Sources of Demand

  • Set the acquisition strategy across paid search, paid social, SEO, content, AI discovery, partnerships, referrals, community initiatives and prospect lifecycle marketing.
  • Build a prioritized pipeline of experiments with clear hypotheses, budgets, success criteria and decisions to scale, iterate or stop.
  • Develop repeatable sources of qualified leads that reduce dependence on a small number of historical channels.
  • Adapt acquisition strategy as search behavior, advertising platforms and SMB buying habits change.

3. Fitness Partnerships and U.S. Market Development

  • Apply your understanding of independent gyms, studios and fitness operators to improve TeamUp’s targeting, channel choices and acquisition experiences.
  • Turn relevant relationships into measurable acquisition opportunities through referrals, partnerships, content collaborations and events.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success and Product Marketing on focused U.S. market initiatives that build local awareness and qualified demand.
  • Evaluate partnerships and community activity against clear commercial objectives, including qualified leads and resulting pipeline.

4. Funnel Conversion Through Sales Handoff

  • Own acquisition performance through lead submission and successful handoff to Sales.
  • Improve landing pages, website journeys, forms, demo and trial entry points, and lead-capture experiences.
  • Build a disciplined conversion experimentation roadmap, prioritizing the largest sources of friction and abandonment.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales on qualification criteria, routing, handoff processes and speed-to-lead.
  • Use opportunity and customer conversion data to assess acquisition quality and refine targeting.

Execution, Analytics and Collaboration

Performance Marketing and Agency Leadership

  • You will own the strategy, budget and results of our performance marketing program, with the outsourced agency supporting execution.
  • Set agency objectives, channel priorities, testing plans and performance expectations.
  • Independently assess results and determine when to increase investment, reduce spend or change the approach.
  • Diagnose performance changes across demand, impressions, query mix, costs, creative, landing-page conversion and downstream lead quality.
  • Ensure customer insights, channel learning and strategic knowledge remain within DaySmart.
  • Evaluate whether agency capabilities and external resources match the business’s growth needs.

Growth Analytics and Economics

  • Monitor acquisition performance by brand, channel, geography, audience and cohort.
  • Manage acquisition efficiency alongside lead volume, using CAC, marginal CAC, funnel conversion and customer value to inform decisions.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to maintain reliable measurement and connect acquisition activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Forecast performance against plan, identify emerging gaps and recommend corrective action.
  • Communicate clearly to leadership what is working, what is changing, why it matters and where to invest next.

How You Work

  • You combine analytical depth with creativity about where growth can come from. You are comfortable investigating performance data yourself, challenging assumptions and making decisions with imperfect information.
  • You can move between a growth model and the details of a campaign or conversion problem. You bring clear priorities, disciplined experimentation and practical accountability to a lean team.
  • You understand the realities of selling to small-business owners: limited time, competing priorities and a need to see value quickly. Your fitness industry experience helps you understand how operators discover, evaluate and buy software—and how trusted relationships influence those decisions.
  • You can explain the acquisition engine you inherited, what you changed, the results you achieved and what you learned along the way.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • U.S.based, with the ability to collaborate 9am to 5pm EST to support our U.S. and U.K. teams.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Growth, Demand Generation, Performance Marketing or B2B SaaS acquisition.
  • Significant SMB SaaS experience, with ownership of high-volume inbound acquisition and measurable growth outcomes.
  • Professional fitness industry experience is a nice to have, ideally marketing software or services to independent gyms, studios or other fitness businesses.
  • A record of scaling qualified lead generation severalfold—ideally from hundreds or approximately 1,000 qualified leads per month into several thousand or more—while maintaining lead quality and attractive economics.
  • Evidence of developing productive new acquisition channels alongside improving established ones.

Core Capabilities

  • Deep performance marketing expertise, particularly in paid search, with experience managing substantial acquisition budgets and external agencies.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, organic acquisition, lifecycle marketing and emerging AI discovery channels.
  • Demonstrated success improving website conversion, landing pages, forms and demo or trial acquisition flows.
  • Strong command of CAC, marginal CAC, LTV/CAC, attribution and funnel economics.
  • Fluency with CRM, marketing automation and analytics tools, and the ability to personally investigate performance data.
  • Effective partnership with Sales in a high-volume SMB environment.
  • Clear executive communication and sound judgment about priorities, trade-offs and investment.
  • Candidates should be prepared to quantify their prior results: starting lead volume, growth achieved, channel contribution, investment required, lead quality and acquisition economics.

What Success Looks Like After 12 Months

  • Sawyer and TeamUp generate materially more qualified inbound sales leads, with downstream conversion validating their quality.
  • Each brand has a credible acquisition model and a clear plan for its next stage of growth.
  • New channels contribute measurable qualified demand beyond historical sources.
  • TeamUp has developed productive fitness industry relationships and demonstrated acquisition opportunities supporting U.S. growth.
  • Website and lead-submission conversion improve through systematic experimentation.
  • Marketing and Sales share clear definitions of lead quality and visibility into funnel performance.
  • Acquisition investment follows marginal returns and evidence from testing.
  • The agency executes against a clear DaySmart-owned strategy with measurable accountability.
  • Dash maintains an efficient baseline of qualified demand, with resources aligned to its near-term priorities.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, and more!
  • 401k plan with company match on your contributions.
  • Open PTO and a generous paid holiday schedule.
  • Supportive work environment with the flexibility to work where/how you want – in-office, remote, or hybrid.
  • Opportunities to ensure you are always learning and growing.
